Gypsy Pistoleros
Imagine a Flamenco-infused, glammed out noise in a head on collision with Punk and Rock N Roll riffs, laced with a touch of latin and you'll sure as hell have yourselves the Gypsy Pistoleros. This ridiculously awesome combination was the brainchild of Lee Pistolero and it is through this brilliantly orchestrated combination that they have carved themselves a uniqueness, separating themselves from other bands in the Glam and Sleaze genres.
These humble beginnings began in Zaragoza, Spain. The catalyst? A support slot with 'Adlers Appetite' in Spain, 2006! Since then the concept has become a kick-ass reality with the PISTOLEROS flaunting their way across the UK, Europe and the U.S touring with numerous acts. They are the only band to have played at all 5 Rocklahoma Festivals (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011) and with a 6th appearance already announced for 2012, there ain't nothing stopping the Pistolero Revolution any time soon. They also appeared on the smash hit Playstation 3/xBox game 'WET', which featured no less than three Gypsy Pistoleros tracks.
In late 2011 the band inked a deal with veteran Hard Rock/Metal label, Heavy Metal Records, kickstarting things with a bang with their first single release on label - a glammed out rendition of Ricky Martin's infamous chart topping hit, 'LIVIN' LA VIDA LOCA' . In early April, the pistoleros released an album titled; 'FOREVER WILD, BEAUTIFUL AND DAMNED! THE GREATEST HITS VOLUME, 1!'
Unfortunately the band parted ways with founder and frontman, Lee Pistolero who decided to fly solo. The band continues with a UK Tour announced for the Summer/Fall of 2012, with a brand new line-up...
Look out for the Pistoleros coming to a town near to you!
